Alake Lewis

Alake’s background is in the restaurant industry. Growing tired of the lifestyle, she decided to take a break and came up with the idea of creating an online store for women’s clothing, thus Olive Mode was born. Initially as a side hustle, Alake began to dedicate more time into in an effort to avoid going back to work in a restaurant. She currently runs both the online store and a physical location inside the MBAD African Bead Museum.
